After you get the averages for the Highway test, only run City and get the
figures for that as well. This way you have the readings for the City/Hgwy
MPG averages that the dealers post. Highway driving will always give you
better results than the city.

Whenever I was doing just "regular" driving I'd get 15-18 mpg too.
This is the reason I carefully selected a route to be my designated test
route.
Other than the fact that the test run is "pure" highway mileage, I guess
I'm just real good at economy style driving, like Darrell Waltrip:).
