Hi, Shane

Thanks very much for the information on the microcontrollers.

I wish that I had the background depth/knowledge to do some hacking.
I'm just interested and using it as opportunity for another learning
experience.

I was planning on having the PCM tweaked specifically for my mods
but that didn't pan out after speaking with a person on the west coast.
When I was testing a custom computer, I found that my truck was quite
awesome from a bit more spark advance and richer afr at part throttle.
This custom program was just not set up for my particular mods at WOT.
The '96 MP PCM that I'm using runs the 1/4 at WOT with a 25 to 31 spark
advance and 0.86 to 0.92v O2 sensor reading (quite rich). I'm sure
that, at a minimum, these are 2 areas that can be tweaked for a little
more performance.

If you know of anyone on this side of the continent that's knowledgeable
in customizing our computer programs, I'd appreciate if you'd let
me know.

Thanks again.

Bob
