I don't know if there was a mid-year change but the Towing Guide I have is
dated 12/99 and it doesn't list a 4x2 w/ 5.9L option unless it's an R/T in
either the Club or Regular Cab models. I had to order the Quad Cab a couple
of weeks ago in order to get a 5.9L engine on a 4x2 since I didn't want the
R/T model with the limited towing rating of 2000 lbs. vs. 6350 lbs. for the
Quad. Four doors are beginning to grow on me. :)
