OK, I'm at wits end with changing the oil filter on my lifted Dak (Gen II
with Trailmaster suspension)...the TM lift hardware almost completely blocks
access to the oil filter from below, the only way to get it out is to turn
the filter sideways and work your way around the hardware, resulting in
spilled oil EVERYWHERE. What a freakin annoying ritual. So I'm wondering if
an oil filter relocation kit might possibly be something to look into...are
these detrimental to use? I use Mobil 1 religiously and want to keep the Dak
for a long, long time (already near 100,000 miles and still running great),
so if this reduces filter effectiveness significantly then I'll just put up
with spilled oil all over the frame...need advice! Thanks!
