Looking for a hitch (and wiring)

Well, now that I've (almost) officially been rear-ended once, it's time
to **** or get off the pot. I'm seriously shopping for a trailer hitch
now. I keep finding the same price online (Jegs, Carparts.com,
wrenchead.com, etc.) for hitches which I can't even determine the brand
on - about $150 plus shipping. I know they can be had for far less.
What does everyone have, where from, and about how much? I'm looking
for a Class III/IV with a 2" receiver, bolt-on (I think they all are
though). '99 Sport CC 4x4, 31" tires. Should I just head to the local
UHauls & speed shops rather than mail-order?

I'm hoping to buy in time so I can install before or at Jon's BBQ in 2
weeks. Else I'll have no recovery points for the off-roading.

Wiring: I didn't buy the tow package from Ma Mopar (obviously) but the
wiring for the rear lights looks to have a bunch of quick-releases
underneath. Would a wiring harness just slip into one of those? Not
looking for a full-size plug right now ( the big round 7-wire deal),
probably at most an 8-prong rectangular hookup.
