What was the outside temperature? A few weeks ago, I had a similar
thing happen. Moving, my temperature was fine, but as soon as I stopped
for a light or something, it jumped up to 210 or so. I have a stock 318
V8 with just the engine-driven fan. It was in the mid 80s or higher
that weekend.
