I feel for you bud, I lost a driveshaft earlier this year. It cost me about
$2000 to fix everything the driveshaft took out. The culprit was a bad
u-joint that i had installed. Here is what it wrecked:
$225, Driveshaft
$40, u-joints
$290, Rear trans seal and bearing, and driveshaft balancing.
$25, checking axles for bending.
$139, Front trans yoke.
$210, new rear tires & mounting (destroyed by driveshaft)
$140, new rear yoke and balancing.
$1069 total so far.............

$???, rear pinion bent ($485 estimate)

I wish you better luck with your damage.
