Subject: DML: My '89 just died... Can you give me some tips?
Hey everyone, yesterday evening my 1989 Dakota 3.9L died on I94 at 75MPH.
I had it trucked home on a flat bed for $175...
No starter solenoid click, no power windows, locks, radio...
The only thing I remember electrical that worked was the seat belt buzzer.
Sound like a computer failure?
All the belts were fine. The battery is a little old, but hasn't shown
signs of aging when I check it's fluid.
