With all the talk of traction bars, I have a rather simple question for
those of you who use them. How have they affected the ride of your truck?
I had the Lakewood bars on my old S-10 and was thinking of putting them on
my new Dak. I did notice that although my traction was improved, my ride
quality went down. I mean the rear felt more stiff without much give over
large bumps, since the snubbers could easily hit the springs on a large
bump. (of course I will admit that I had to tweak the bars to make them
work on the S-10.) I was wondering if anyone here noticed this on their
dak. It may not be as noticeable as the dak is a larger, heavier truck than
the S-10. I'd like the benefits of the bars, as they were a good $30
purchase, but I like to keep the ride nice too for those long trips. Thanks
for the input.

Also, Homemade K&N system to go on next week (finally) with new Autolite
plugs and maybe a 180 tstat time permitting. I'll let you all know my
observations of the effects on my 4.7.
