Oh! I have bugging Charles for any info for the 2001 Cobra 385 model.
Since Roush does most of the engineering work.
Meaning - 385HP Cobra for $ 32,000.00. That is stock and massive gain over
the 320HP from 1999/2000 model. This can be one mean car with a 10PSI or
12PSI blower. If money was there a twin 12PSI turbo. This has a dual intake
TB and hat. I could easily see a 550HP streetable Mustang or better.
Now for the Charger???????????????????????

Amazed?
I dont know anyone with the LS1 that cant hit 13's
My bro in law did 13.5 bone stock, stock tires, ect.... (except K&N filter)
with a Whisper air lid, self-ported MAFS, flowmaster, and ram air, he hit
13.1@104 and pulled a 1.9 60' time, and still stock tires, and auto tranny
(launches just above idle, no faster than 1k RPMS)
Ever since he bought this, I have been a chevy/dodge man... =-)
Still dont like the icky ferds.... just because... (yes, my friend has a
cobra too, just dont impress me) The new T/As are gonna have 385 HP too...
and you know thats gonna be damn close to the RWHP too... stock T/A's put
out 300 at the wheels.... =-) Yes the engine is bigger, but the gas milage
is the same, so... untill Ferd has sumthin like this, I'm stickin with Chevy
on the side =)
Them SS's are hittin low 13's stock, one with slicks and maybe a few other
mods, hits 12's every time I'm at the track.... (a family with a LS1 T/A,
LT1, and L98)
even the l98 is running 14.0's =/
