Transmission is perfectly fine in my 93 Dakota 4x4 with 125,700 miles on it.
Keeping transmissions cool and regular maintenance is the key. I am running
a tranny cooler, large enough for a 1ton pickup and I change the ATF/filter
ever year......reguardless of mileage.
