Depends if this is with or without a filter change... If changing the filter
mine takes the full five quarts. If not, it's four and a half or so. Both
scenarios bring it right up to the "full" line. Being 1/2 way up the "ok"
marks should be just fine but add a smidgen more if it makes you feel
uncomfortable.

Just wondering how much oil everyone puts in there
truck with the 5.2l Magnum (not sure if the premag
would be the same) and also with the stock oil filter
size? I've been putting 5qt. since I've had the
truck, but it only reads 1/2 way up the ok mark? The
book calls for 5qt., but is this enough? Does it have
to measure to the top of the ok mark?
