It pains me to continue this thread, and it was mentioned by someone already,
but the ONLY reason there is an issue with the R/T list, and it will CONTINUE
to be an issue until it is CHANGED, is the OWNERSHIP REQUIREMENT to join the
R/T list. It is exclusionary. You can tell everyone they aren't missing
anything all you want. It is THAT separatist policy that is the root of all
the ill-will. If the R/T list owners would lift that restriction the whole
thing would blow over. As long as they ACTIVEY EXCLUDE people, people will be
miffed. No ifs, ands, or buts..... I fail to see why THAT is such a hard thing
for the R/T list to understand. And it would be so simple to resolve as well.
Yet in all the battling they never ever have expressed any desire to rectify
the problem, all they do is state that they cannot understand why others feel
slighted. Well they cannot understand because THEY are not being excluded from
anything..... Whenever you exclude someone from something they want it. Thats
just human nature. And exclusionism IS an elitist tactic by definition. So I
fail to see why the R/T list cannot understand those complaints being levelled
against it.

Agreed! I've never thought R/T's are better than other Dakotas.
Never. And I think 99.9% of R/T owners feel the same way. They're
just a little different, and we R/T owners like to celebrate that
difference. Call us weird, maybe, but not elitist. :-)
