I have the same drop in under the rail lining, and also have the extang soft
tonneau. Fits like a glove, after a few minutes of argument with the cover
itself to get it snapped on. If I am not mistaken, there should not be any
major difference in the bed sizes with any 97+, unless you get a Quad Cab. I
have a 98 Ext Cab. I would suggest getting a rhino lining though, going to
get mine soon along with a flush hard tonneau, but needed something
temporary to cover my bed and save me some gas until I get there.
