Nothing wrong with DSL, just the folks who administer it(Bell Atlantic
InfoSpeed). When I had ISDN the line would go down more than stay up(sad
part about it was the NOC is 1 block down the street, so if I couldn't reach
them via phone I'd walk down the street and knock on their door), at least
once a week they had to reset my line because the switch would have a stupid
attack. Billing was always fun to deal with. Before I dropped their service
they forgot to bill me for like 6 months (my bad that I didn't check my
credit card statement), the SO had their service too(dialup), and they NEVER
billed her(she now has a cable modem too!) for close to 2 years before she
dropped them. She also got very poor service from them. Now I don't know
about their DSL service, they may have improved their service since then.
But I do suggest you look into all your choices before signing on.
