Then that open element air cleaner zaps 50 horse back off when the engine
bay heats up. Dump that thing and get a cold air system. I started out with
my 99 R/T with a open element air cleaner. Best time on the R/T CC was 15.8,
as it got hotter it when to mid-16's. With the cold K&N cold air I dropped
to consistent 15.4's. Added a F&B Stage 1 Throttle body and got a best time
of 14.91. No other performance mods.
