Nope.. runs pretty cool (using a 180 Deg stat).
But I've got to tear the bottom off this week to track down an oil leak that
developed on Sunday. Since I'm in there, a new timing gear set from Hughes
Engines is going in, and since I'm doing that, I'm putting on a new water
pump to boot. The original has 80,000 miles on it, might as well upgrade
now, instead of waiting for it to let me down out on the trail sometime.

I guess I don't understand. Are your engines running hot? Mine stays at
195 all the time. I am planning to put a 180 t-stat in to make the engine
run more efficiently but I don't understand everyone talking about extra
cooling. You can't make your engine cooler than the t-stat's going to allow
anyway, right?

Looking on my specific model there is no rubber shielding that blocks any
air from getting in. SO my next best bet to cool down the engine is the
FlowKoolers. My question is, why hasn't the bigger auto manufacture caught
on to this devise?
