This little gadget came up many months ago on the list. I don't recall
what the consensus was - I seem to recall it was smoke & mirrors.

I took my new Autolites out for a spin tonight and the engine seems to
take a lot more load to start pinging than before (and pings less once
it starts doing it), runs smoother and seems to wind up better. Can't
wait to see it go away with the 180 t-stat.
