Secondly, I would recommend the 6-Offroad Igntion(PN#6470), because it comes
with watertight connectors everywhere, and the internals are completely
covered in 'Restech'; basically an epoxy which creates a fully
vibration-proof and water-proof ignition. This box has the same identical
operating and technical specs/features as the MSD 6A, so you know the
performance and gains are the same if you dont want to spend the extra money
on the Offroad Ignition. After I ran the ignition about 6 months, I noticed
a slight hummm coming through my CB as I accelerated. I then bought MSD's
Noise Filter, PN#8830, which totally cured the sound coming from the MSD
box. Accel also makes a good noise filter. I think I paid about $40 for the
MSD Filter.
