Well, I couldn't hold back anymore...I ordered the PowerDyne kit for my
Dak...and for three reasons:
(1) I have access to an older Paxton from a 5.0L but Paxton wouldn't sell me
the brackets separately
(2) Vortec was VERY rude on the phone when I asked them for schematics to
just the mounting brackets so that I could check the installation
requirements/modifications.
(3) PowerDyne was VERY helpful with the installation questions and even
referred me to someone with a lower price (Redline Performance - $2300).
It should be here by next weekend (not this weekend) and the installation
won't be until that following weekend...maybe.
