i was thinkin on the same lines ...i was also considerin puttin a plexi.
top on the box so you could see the woofer then make somthin like you said
over it ...ill probably make some kind of removable arm rest to ..i miss mine

..either my sub or the rear channels of my amp blew aarrrggg so ive gots to
investigate that first ...
