Matt,
My 4.7L 5 speed has been doing the same thing. It usually does it at the
most convenient time, like coming around an exit ramp on my way to work
almost hit the curb on that one. ) It just cuts out between shifts and
trying to kick start it doesn't always work, the engine just drags like
there is no spark. It goes into the dealer tomorrow, hopefully it is just a
computer flash. (fingers crossed)
