Tim is definitely in the 13's with his truck, traction conditions were not
the best I've seen, and humidity was way up. Given the right conditions
he'll run around 13.8's.
My PCM continued to act up in the hot humid conditions, the rev limiter cuts
in at will, however I learned something new about this condition on Friday,
the condition is clutch activated, as soon as I touch the clutch pedal, the
computer cuts out. I can keep my foot to the floor until 6000 rpms with no
cut out, but when I touch the clutch, shift, and hit the gas again, its
dead. I experimented with shift rpm, doesn't seem to matter. I shifted at
4000 rpms and as soon as I hit the clutch it died. I don't understand it??
I let the thing cool down for 1 1/2 hrs. The sun went down, temp got real
cool. I went back out and ran 3 or 4 times in a row with no problems, didn't
cut out one time, shifted at 5500 rpms. The only thing I can say for
certain is it's definitely a Temp. driven problem, why the clutch pedal is
triggering it I don't know??
The neutral safety switch is triggered by the clutch, but I don't know how
that would be causing it?? I think I'll try to disconnect the switch next
time I'm at the track.

I did the following mods...
Hypertech PTM
MP Puter
24# injectors
and 11# pully (makes 8 PSI on my truck with no air filter, 6.5 with filter)
Pressure in tires were the same.. (25-26PSI)
well... I improved a hell of alot more than I thought...
Best 1/4 was 14.105@96.85
Best time was 14.13@96.99
never broke mid 2.2 60' times... well.. all of mine tonight were 2.1's even
with Matt's slicks launching at WOT (just over 2k rpm) and 2.1 with street
tires running at 25PSI launching at 1200-1500
I'm sure you can see I'm happy as hell with my times.... 13's are around
the corner somewhere... just need to find them =)
