Mike, I'm not sure. The guy to ask would be Marty at KRC Performance, his company actually does the custom flash. But I would think that the boost is controlled basically by engine RPM. The higher the RPM the faster the centrifugal supercharger turns and the higher the boost. If the computer can read the RPM than it can determine how much boost pressure there is. Again this is a custom flash for a particular setup. If you have your computer set for a #6 pulley and then later add a #11 pulley I'm not sure if it would work, you would probably have to have the computer re-flashed. But again, Marty is the guy for this question.

Hi Chuck,
how does this new flash handle positive manifold pressure?
*Does it require you to change to a 2 bar map sensor?*
If this is so, someone certainly earned whatever they are charging
for this service. It requires rescaling of multiple tables, and
changing when baro readings are permitted. If it doesn't
require swapping sensors, I question how the PCM can tell
2psi of boost from 9psi..
Thanks,

If you have the PCM custom flashed you don't need the MSD boost retard box.
The PCM will compensate your timing for the added boost. You can have it
custom flashed by Marty Fletcher at KRC Performance
http://members.spree.com/business/krcperform . I think if you buy the
supercharger from him the custom flash is included...otherwise it's about
$575. If you send him a e-mail he is very helpful and he really knows his
Dodge vehicles. His e-mail is krcperformance@netzero.net . Hope this helps,
keep us posted Bernd...I'm sure you will.
