Our engines are notorious for "pinging" and the 3923's (along with making
very slightly more power) work rather well. Coming from a VERY avid
SplitFire user (Me), I switched to them as well and love'em.

Depending on the factory gap, I wouldn't go more than .05" larger for the
MSD. I know MSD recommends about .010" larger but i've eaten up plugs that
way.

So why would I want a colder spark? This is just a little bit of a
confusing idea to me.

Also do I just leave them gapped as is with my MSD?

The 3924's are the stock heat range for our trucks. The 3923's are one step
colder.
