my accell coil along w/ the MSD 8.5 SC's work well, I think the current
gap is around .050" although I'm not real certain. Stick an ohm meter on
one of your plug wires and then compare that to the MSD wire. I recorded
aroudn 4k ohms with my old accel wires (#1 cyl wire) the same #1 cyl MSD
wire was 42 ohms. 3k ohm reduction makes quite a difference.
