I know 91+ is what is recommended, but if I can get away with less for
unloaded driving, that's what I want to do. No sense spending more money on
gas than I have to. I'm sure I will have to go to 91+ for towing or when the
bed is loaded, but until that's my only option, I'm going to try to get rid
of the ping with the plugs. There are a couple of guys on the Ram list who
are able to run 87-89 with the MP comp and only go to 91 when towing, so
that's my goal.

whoa now!! I let my dad use my truck for 3 weeks, and TOLD him repeatedly
to use high test... well come to find out he ploped that nasty tasting 87
stuff in there... well when I got the truck back we went riding over to
Asheville, I made a few patented Jon Smith manuevers into traffic and it
sounded like a octet of little men hammering away on my pistons..
BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD badbadbadbad

get some 104+ and dump in that tank, then make sure to use 92-93 octane from
now on :-)
