My dad went to synthetic on his 3500 extended Ram van; and that cured the
missed shifts it was having. Since the computer learns the driving habits..
it kept trying to raise the shift points.. until it was hitting the rev
limiter before it shifted. He went to synthetic at about 60,000 and it's
been about 70,000 with no problems since. It's a 360Mag with an auto. Not
sure what gears. but runs pretty good being the size of a small condo.
