Tanner,

The factory warranty can only be voided if the dealership can prove that the
installed part caused the problem.
If you installed a cat-back system and your tranny went out, they still have
to cover the repair. On the other hand, if you bring it in for an exhaust
rattle in the rear of the truck...it's on you, not them.
