I've been told that freon will leak out of the seals on any new AC, if you
use freon.

Freon might be part of your problem, I thought all gen 3's were supposed to
use non-freon coolant..

DML,
It's HOT!!!! About a month ago i had to add some froen to my A/C.
It cooled fine for about 3 weeks. Then i put some sealer/leak-detector to
see if it would stop leaking. NOPE! It lasted about 8hrs before it leaked
out again.... But, i did happen to find out where it is leaking
om...=( The evaporator seems to have sprung a leak. Has anyone tried to
pull the evaporator out of a gen III Dak? Also i have heard that aftermaket
replacements do not fit in correctly. And the dealer wants $265.00 for one.
Any suggestion's????
Thanks,
HOP.
