Here in PA the state wont even process a title unless the PO signs it. But
since you still have the title(you do don't you?) sounds like they are
basically hanging by the short hairs. Might want to look over the paper
work you signed and see if you signed any thing like a "Power of Attorney"
to allow them to sign titles etc in your name, in which case they might be
able to file for a replacement for a lost title or something of the sort.
Bet you have a place to spend the $5400 in retail value they pay you when
the private party you now "owns" your truck makes a stink about giving it
back.
