Dumb question here on the child seat stuff:
Why do you have to have the dealer install it when there are hundreds of
different models and sizes to choose from? (A infant car seat won't hold a
toddler and vice-versa. They're rated that way for safety reasons from the
manufacturer.)
I have several children and they've all been in different car seats (all
safe as well) over the years. You CAN'T just use one model/style...that
would be unsafe.

And why I brought up the child seat system, for in Canada you have to
have your child seat(s) installed right (the way the dealerships
guidelines are) or get a ticket. As it is right now it's not like any
other system in any other car or truck, but this is what chrysler came
up with. With this setup I have to keep a page of the kits paper work
in the truck at all times to keep from getting a ticket. Plus this way
I know that my little guy is safe, and I didn't drill threw any of the
crumple zones. Plus as a added bonus I got it in with the contract of
the truck they didn't know that it was that big of a job, thought that
it would only cost them around $30.00 not $300.00.
Hope that a little more clearer. Still to dam early in the a.m. 6:30
now and been up all night hope this one makes scene.
Thanks
