Chris - It sounds like the cop had a "thing" for you and/or your Dak.
Who knows, maybe he saw you some other time and you weren't so well
behaved ;-) and he just now had the opportunity to rag on you. It sounds
like you were within the Rhode Island limits of driving, but being that
the light was red, the officer did have a point :-( I don't know if you can
get off on the technicality of having the wrong intersection written on the
ticket or not, but considering it is only for $50, I would pay it. Fighting
it
is going to cost a lot more when you figure in your time and lost wages.
    If the overpayment has worked for you in the past, try it again and hope
for the best. I believe that a ticket for failure to obey devices is
considered
a moving violation in RI.
