Ok! The cat's out of the bag. John design and builds TB for QUICKD. What
the...this also includes cold air intake and fuel rails.

Did you see John watkins TB project at
http://www.intenseperformance.com/fun/Throttle_Body/throttle_body.html ? I
guess the main reason the traditional butterfly valve arrangement is still
with us is it's reliable and cheap.

I kind of laughed but someone has proved that this works on the 4.7 engine.
They used a 5.9 TB, the 5.2 TB, and a 8.0 TB. Now I really don't know how
true this is.

Yah, compared to the Z-tube, the TB is just a little tiny thing.

What happen if you applied a V-10 Throttle Body with the Z-Tube?

I'm going to give it a few days for the chip to re-learn the new air-flow.
Right now there is a little hesitation, or delay, when you jump on it.
Traffic was crazy today anyway. You can really hear it suck - whoooOOMP!

Just a little closer to the front on the filter but it looks nice. How did
it feel after installing it?

Intense Performance Z-Tube. I ordered it Tuesday, he shipped it Wednesday,
I received it Friday (from Washington state to Miami), and I put it on.
Well designed and well made. Came with a bracket to relocate the cruise
controller, but I didn't need it or use it. Pictures at
http://personal.bellsouth.net/~rparenti/dakota.htm
I'm thinking about pulling the rubbber air dam next to the radiator and
putting in a shield next the hot engine/radiator air, letting cooler air
straight into the filter.
