The Mothballs in the tank is a pretty old "trick" but not something that you
want to do on ANY newer (Catalytic Controlled) vehicle. The old fashioned
mothballs (when properly mixed with gasoline) made a very nice mixture of
mild nitromethane. We used to mix denatured alcohol and mothballs with our
fuel MANY moons ago.
