Jon,
I believe that typically any auto store will charge a core, and then refund
it when you bring the old one in; atleast they did when I put one on my dads
Taurus this summer. I am not sure though how it will work since my stocker
is a 75amp unit and I will be buying a 120amp unit. Any ideas? Maybe they
will charge me a core, but I wont be able to bring in my smaller amp
alternator for the refund; who knows. If this is the case, then most
definately I will let you know. By the way.......how long did it take you to
get the alternator off? Anything hard or complicated? I havent really looked
at it to see, but it only took 20 minutes to get the stocker off of my dads
Taurus and I dont see how it could take longer on my wonderful-to-workon
Dak. I dont have A/C, if that matters..........
