7 minutes eh Jon.......well see............as I would love to just get my
stocker off in 20 minutes. I have been contemplating doing some other
electrical upgrades once I get a new more powerfull alt on anyways. I would
pop in a new battery; Champion 4x4 4post 1000CA for a mere $45. I would also
like to upgrade the cable size of the power/neg wires coming off of the
alternator, but still uncertain about it. Do you know if the power wire and
the neg wire on the alt goes straight to the battery?? Or does it get hooked
up into the starter or anything else?? The cheapest I have found the
alternator for is $120($1 an amp?) with a lifetime warranty; I dont remember
what the core charge was, if any. I am going to call around and get a full
list of prices this week and see what is in the budget. I will let you know
anyways.
