Since you're trying to clear 31x10.50 tires (which come on '97 and
newer 4x4s as a factory option) I'll assume your truck is a '96 or
older.

One thing you might want to consider about adding leafs is that it
will make your suspension stiffer, and reduce your articulation.
Replacing all or part of the existing spring pack or using blocks are
the only ways I know of to lift the rear without impacting
articulation.

I run 31x9.50 Super Swamper TSL Radials on trails on my '95 4x4
(stock suspension) with no problem at all. The skinnier tire tucks
in to the wheel wells quite nicely. This is the only brand I've been
able to find in that size. Unfortunately, the Swampers really aren't
suited to lots of use on pavement.
