What gets me going is dropping the clutch at 5000 rpm! I have AWD and a heavy
"stock" flywheel that gives me a nice 1.6 to 1.8 60 foot every time. If I was
relying on torque, like a rolling start in 2nd gear I would be spanked for sure.
My car has no power under 3000 rpm. It's like driving a metro or something. But
on the good side it gets 35 mpg :) I built the engine for racing primarily, but I
do drive it to work too.
