Shopping for ignitions in the Summit catalog, and Crane Cams has a system
that looks good on paper -- Fireball HI-6S with PS-91 Coil, harness
included, for $153.95 (vs. $180 for MSD 6A/Blaster SS/Harness combo). This
seems to be a system targeted at the same class as the MSD 6A. The Crane
components bought separately are about $190, so the package deal looks
pretty good cash-wise if it's a good ignition. The only technical difference
I can spot is that the Crane is inductive discharge, while the MSD is
capacative discharge. What's the diff?
Anybody try these or have any data on their quality?
