Let's remember that the timing chain on the V6 SHOULDN'T break at 48,000,
but many list members have had problems with the timing chain at this
mileage....myself included. I had mine replaced at 40,000, due to lots of
slack in it and it slapping. Had I let it go another 8000 miles, I assume
it could have broke. This doesn't seem to be uncommon problem with the V6.
