No, the fan clutch is fine. However, that big heavy fan costs a lot of
horsepower. I have had it off for a couple of days now and my engine temp is no
higher than before, with the AC on or off. And here in Los Angeles it is still
pretty hot outside. I might throw the fan back on next summer if needed.
