Horsepower TV had a segment on carb spacers this weekend. Wood was the
"best" material (don't recall why) but needed constant
checking/replacement because fuel eats away at the stuff. However, on
our MPI engines, I would think that's not much of a factor - gas is
introduced farther downstream.
Anyway, if you're thinking about making a Po'Boy spacer, at least
prototype it in wood - it's "legit" and not a difficult material to work
with. Cheap to boot.
