Hey Jeff...
I owned a 93 CC V6 I bought new and put 99,000 miles on before getting the
R/T. The only problem I had with the V6 was a worn out distributor drive
gear around 75,000 miles that gave a few problems before we found it. In
town I only got around 17 MPG but I would guess in the mid to upper 20's if
driving solely on the highway. I had no problems pulling anything I needed
including a small tractor with a front bucket and a box blade. I did find
myself missing the V8 rumble and the ability to break the rear tires loose
now and again. Your concerns on the 4.7 kind of reflect mine even though I
am actively trying to sell the R/T and get a QC 4.7. Anyhow just my
experience with the 3.9. Good luck which ever way you choose to go.
Later,
Paul Gottes
