Steven,
I've had this same thought with my dakota. I took it a body shop and ask
them their opinion on painting it. They said it would have to be sanded
somewhat and a sealer (to keep the oils from coming out of the plastic).
My biggest problem is just making up my mind if i want to do it. I live in
Montana where it WILL get chipped and am wondering if it will be worth it or
not.
One other thing is most body shops WON'T give you a garantee on the work.
