what year? My 90 did that same thing.. right after doing e brake donuts on
dirt roads.. they would stay on for months, then go off, then come back on.
I finally just put a piece of electrical tape over them and said f$#* 'em
=] I had the same problem on my 98, happened after they put a new puter in.
Seems they had a bad ground for the abs or something like that.. they fixed
it and it is all good now.

Hope this helps
