I mentioned that I drive a specific route regularly. This prticular route is
very flat, very few stops, and very secluded(lack of headwinds to slow me
down).I generally don't drive it anywhere else. There are only 3 stops
between my college and home, so I don't really get a good estimate on the
"city" mpg.I use the cruise so that I'm not constantly chenging the throttle
position.I did not say an average 29 mpg, although that IS what I have been
getting while running it back and forth to college.I would guess that I
average 25-27 mpg for a complete tank.I will definitely be doing some math
on the next tank to make sure.My O/H computer has been pretty
reliable, though.I'll get back to you guys on this mileage thing.Ya'll have
me doubting my self and my truck now!! I will make detailed notes of the
conditions, type of fuel, actual running time(I keep track of the time my
engine is running, too!),and will report back.I do have the 3.92
gears, though. And the 255/65's.I was considering going to a little bigger
tire to get the revs down even more, but the speedo difference isn't worth it
to me.Thanks,

Will,
That 29mpg higway is out of the statistical norm for a
4.7.
What do you get for city driving?
The Dodge site has it listed as 15 city & 20 highway -
no mention of the gears but, I would not assume the
3.92
I and I'm sure others on the list would like to know
how you accomplish it.
Thanks
