It's all calculated. The reason the Ford Explorer is such a crappily made
vehicle is simple math... they make 2.1 billion a year on exploder sales, so
they can afford to let a hundred or so people die every once-in-a-while.
Grim fact. Watch fight club where the main character explains what he does
for a living. He works for an estimation company that does the exact thing
were talking about. (also what drove him over the edge in the movie)
