Don't they make some sort of high-temp (ceramic?) coating that you can put
on and then dry in your oven?

Yeah they do and I don't have the can in front of me but I'll get it. I used
it on my FLOWTECH headers that didn't fit. One problem w/the paint is the
directions call for 3-4 different temps to cure(sp?) the paint. The last and
highest temp is 650 and my oven only went to 500, so I checked a buddies and
his was 550.
