To clarify, "Mopars at the Rock" is an annual Mopar show that has been
going on for about nine years now. This year the show's organizers
saw the article in Mopar Muscle about the National Dakota R/T Meet
last June in Detroit, and were impressed enough to ask the R/T Club if
we would like participate as a specific category for the show and
racing. They will also have special events for Vipers, PT Cruisers,
Neons, and others. A group of us are working to make it the premier
east coast show for Dakota R/T's in 2001. Since it's an all Mopar
event, all Dakotas are more than welcome to attend. In fact, any
Mopar is welcome. :-) I advised Jon that when planning the VMP
meet, he might want to avoid the April 21-22 weekend to avoid conflict
and maximize Dakota attendance.
